LIFE is now GECA certified

The GECA program launched in November 2001 provides to the community an environmental mark of recognition for a wide range of products and services. The Australian Ecolabel Program has been developed for general compliance to ISO 14 024 and is managed by a not-for-profit organisation utilising a national network of registered assessors. The program awards a mark of recognition for products and services that meet standards of environmental, quality and social performance.

The LIFE chair is a product that embodies Formway’s philosophy of environmental consciousness. We have a proven history of using environmental life cycle thinking as a source of product innovation and design direction. We actively manage environmental issues throughout all aspects of our business (Formway has environmental management programs addressing all stages in our product life cycles). We use Life Cycle Assessment studies to gain insight into product environmental impacts, and to guide new product design minimising the overall environmental impact of our products.
