Formway Design takes BeST Awards top gong for second consecutive year.

On the back of last year’s success at New Zealand's premier design awards event the Formway Design team have done it again this year.

The Formway Design team was up on stage three times taking two gold awards in the 'Product - Furniture' and 'Sustainable Design' categories, and one 'Stringer Award' for Product Design. The Stringer Award being of particular significance as it is not always awarded every year. All awards were received for the design of the Be chair, Formway Design's new office task chair.

This effort mirrors Hum's success at the awards night in 2008 where it received the same clutch of awards across the same categories. Reaching this level of recognition two years running is indicative of the energy, quality, and innovative ability that the Formway Design culture embodies.

The Be chair has already received great reviews and accolades in the US where it is sold by Knoll under the name 'Generation'.

The Be chair launches in NZ and Australia early 2010.
