PLI has taken the top spot at the IIDEX/ NeoCon convention winning a Gold Award in the Seating Category for 2008. PLI’s sensitivity to form was sited as its biggest draw card. And while the formal qualities of the range are strong, attention was not lost in making sure that PLI was comfortable to sit in.  The low environmental impact of the range also impressed judges with all wood components coming from FSC-certified sources.

HUM, Minds at Work has also taken a Silver Innovation Award in the Furniture Systems category. Since the first IIDEX event in 1984, the Innovation Awards have been an IIDEX/NeoCon Canada highlight, showcasing excellence in product design and creativity. Winning entries successfully address a list of criteria that includes problem solving, environmental responsiveness and market application.

Judged by a panel of international award-winning design professionals, architects and magazine editors, the Awards are organized by the Interior Designers of Canada and Merchandise Mart Properties (Canada) Inc.
